Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback actress, singer and musician. Her work is primarily involved in Tamil or Malayalam-language films. She made her acting debut with the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut with Annayum raolum. Andrea Jeremiah grew up in the Tamil Nadu region in an Anglo-Indian home. Her father is an Madras High Court lawyer. Her mother is the older sibling of the researcher assistant in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born near Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to learn classical piano in her eighth year. Young Stars is a Jackson Five style group that she joined when she was 10 years old that was the basis of her musical and singing career. In her college she was also a theater artist and performed in stage productions organized through The Madras Players. She was the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her acting career as a child actress in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. She starred in a brand new advertisement for Leo alongside actor Shiva. She also acted on Podhigai Channel on a TV serial. The actress performed all over India. She was in a small character in the finale in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). She sang for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. He asked her to play one of his lead female characters for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani the wife who's husband is in the middle of an extramarital affair. Andrea was chosen to play the character after Simran, Tabu, and Tabu had been approached. This film released in early 2010. It was announced in the beginning of 2011. perform a small supporting character that was released early in the year.
