Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. Most famously, she is the host of CNN's morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was previously a cohost of the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been part of CNN its award-winning coverage of the presidential 2012 and 2016 election. Bolduan has also been an official correspondent for the congressional office in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan covered congressional and legislative activities, like the negotiations for raising the debt ceiling of the US and the super committee's discussions. The work she has done for her general assignments included reporting regarding Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the stimulus program by the government in 2009. The reporter joined CNN Newsource in the year 2007. As a correspondent for the national network, she provided breaking news coverage and feature news for over 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. Prior to that, she worked as an anchor at NBC News MSNBC & WTVD-TV. She lives now with her family in New York City together with her husband, two kids and two grandchildren.
